Should Christians Study Other Religions?

In this episode, Maddux, Jack and I discuss religion. To be able to sit with them and just understand where they are spiritually/religiously/relationally and just pick their brains was great. If you've been keeping up this season, you've seen them before and you're seeing the development of the relationship. It's so dope to be able to build connections with people that have different beliefs than the ones I hold. 

All in all, I believe Christians should be prayerful about learning and studying other religions. To some, it may be beneficial. For some, it might not be. Pray about, evaluate the stability of your relationship with Christ and ask yourself what your motive is for even wanting to learn in the first place. 

We shouldn't learn things just for the sake of being able to win arguments. Any study of other religions should be to further understand their points of view in effort to more effectively defend your faith and make disciples of Christ.
