Emerald the Evergreen

Emerald, a Christmas tree who loved his forest home, sought help from Starbeam, the forest spirit, to avoid being chosen for a Christmas tree. Starbeam cast a spell, granting Emerald the power of illusion to hide from tree-hunters. Emerald remained safe in the forest, cherished by the woodland creatures he protected.
