A Byte-Sized Quest

Byte, a sentient character in the retro video game “Galactic Quest,” yearns for more than his repetitive digital life. He escapes the game console and explores the arcade, leaving clues for his devoted player, Alex. Eventually, Byte returns to his game, carrying the knowledge of the world beyond and the belief of his player.
