Back in 1981, Mike Whitney was playing club cricket in England when he was called up by the touring Australian team to play in Botham's Ashes. He talks about the shock inclusion and rooming with Dennis Lillee! He went pn to play 12 Tests and 38 ODIs for Australia, including taking 11 wickets against India in Perth in 1992. After hanging up his boots, "Whits" moved into broadcasting, hosting the wildly popular "Who Dares Wins" show, refereeing "Gladiators" and host of "Sydney Weekender" for over 25 years and counting.
