Smino - Luv 4 Rent Album Review | 808s & Cold Takes Ep. 85

Almost four years after his last record, St. Louis rapper/singer Smino is back with his third studio album, Luv 4 Rent. This is not to say he’s been missing at all from hip hop during the time in between releases. Consistently collabing and appearing on some of the most critically acclaimed rap albums of the last few years is something Smino does with ease alongside his own set of memorable singles.  

Speaking of collaborations, Smino is also a member of multiple Chicago based hip hop groups such as SAVEMONEY, Ghetto Sage, and Pivot Gang. His relevance is not only kept from his constant work ethic, but also his smooth vocal delivery and boundary pushing flows. 

Luv 4 Rent features the likes of J. Cole, Doechii, Fatman Scoop, Cruza, Kal Banx, Lucky Daye, Phoelix, Cory Henry, Ravyn Lenae, Lil Uzi Vert, and reggie.
