Both of the conversations in this episode are with athletes who have given up their careers to simplify their lives and pursue, whole-heartedly, their love of triathlon.
First up is Ultraman Florida finisher, Caroline Bloom, in the UMC profile slot. She shares stories about her recent win at 24 hours in the Canyon and how she has struggled with moving to Colorado just prior to the pandemic.
Then, I have a conversation with Arnaud Selukov who is in the Netherlands for the Long Course World Championships in Almere where he is seeking another age group world title. He has 42 - 140.6 races and four 515’s under his belt. When not racing he is rescuing dogs and working with athletes through 859 Coaching.
Mike Coughlin, coach with Discomfort Zone and Ohana member from multiple Ultraman races, Is the subject of this episode's Steve King Stories.
