So, Doug, you started competing again, started writing again. Have you found your love again for fitness? That's always a question. I always talk to the guys because you and I were young when we fell in love with fitness, I believe I tell people I enjoyed exercising in the process.
It depends on the weight you're using, and it depends on the angle of that limb relative to gravity or relative to whatever other direction of resistance you might be using based on either a cable or based on what's called friction force, which is if you push in a direction other than opposite resistance.
So one of the people that I sent the book the manuscript to was a guy named Wayne Westcott, PhD professor of Exercise science at Quincy College. He himself an author of 28 fitness books, very well respected.
Just talking to the audience, a lot of the audience knows that we have Muscle Matters and we're going to dig deeper into Doug with his thought process, with his analytical thinking, with his technique, developing from an old school format when he was young to where he is now writing two books.
I mean, I worked after the bodybuilding career was 16 years in the It business, so it was kind of a good career. But it was just like you said, that's crazy, Doug.
