Pump It Up Mix By [Exotic_Duo]

Exotic is a duo of producers namely Kgopotso Shongwe and Mxovadj, two guys who grew up together, deeply in love with house music from an early age. Mostly inspired by deep house, soulful house, funk/disco and electronic music. They decided to work together since they are both inspired by the same sound. Exotic was formed mid-2007 when they saw a gap in the industry of making music, they started with deejayng at Parties, weddings and events. Their inspiration came from both local and international dj’s.

In 2009 they decided to move to music production and have managed to work with a few artists namely (Vocal Flame, Thabile Buthelezi and Tumi Wayward). In 2014 they released their first EP called ‘’Rooted in me’’ which was appreciated by a lot of people.

In 2015 they worked on mix tapes called ‘’future collections’’ which had 7 episodes and they managed to play live sets in different venues and giving people that different sound and vibe. In 2017 they signed with The Hiive Media and have been busy with a couple of project.
