Sherman Perryman is an entrepreneur, lifestyle coach and author. His studies at Morehouse College and the USC Ross program in real estate laid the foundation for his ambitions, blending real world savvy with scholarly insight. He was among the entrepreneurs featured in the docuseries Black Business Los Angeles.

Raised in Carson and Los Angeles and a contemporary of Nipsey Hussle, Sherman gives a moving recounting of attending the rapper's funeral as well as conveying what made Nipsey Hussle so revered within the community.

Sherman's brand, Militant Grind, is all about the practice of becoming a better human being in every aspect. His book, From Grit to Greatness. Harnessing the Five Pillars of the Militant Grind, outlines the basis of his success philosophy and lifestyle coaching.
