1996's HARD MEN is the grandaddy of the Brit Gangster film revival from the late nineties.

Ridley Scott is a fan of it and Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels took it's lead from it.

Britflicks.com was grateful to spend some time with writer/director JK Amalou on the eve of shooting his new UK thriller 'Assassin' starring Danny Dyer.
