After opening with another  “Stranger-Than-Fiction Dispatch,” the guys from 3CT offer their thoughts on the Uvalde (Texas) School Police Chief’s first public statements regarding the tragic school shooting that occurred at the Robb Elementary School on May 24th, 2022. They provide a line-level cop’s point of view regarding the Chief’s deflecting statements surrounding both his individual and agency’s actions during the incident.

They close with the confusing trend of risking public safety by excluding uniformed police officers from many Gay Pride Parades across the United States. Despite many of the event organizer’s heralded mantra of “acceptance and inclusion for all,” the police are often placed in the precarious position of attempting to provide community outreach, safety and security for events where organizers often publicly denounce the mere presence of the police.
