During this episode, we further explore the mental health issues experienced by many first responders. As a profession, we witness some of the most horrific things imaginable, yet historically have had few appropriate resources available to deal with these things. The stigma of mental health within our profession has long needed to change to better serve ourselves and our communities. Our guests, Carlos Farina and Rich Wistock of the Transformations Treatment Center, provide us with some details on effective forms of mental health treatment that are making a positive difference in the lives of many public safety professionals.
